Run Third Beach

Overview

The third and final beach heading west along the Stanley Park Seawall is Third Beach, located at Ferguson Point in Stanley Park. Naturally sandy and surrounded by lush forest, Third Beach is a quiet escape from the bustling downtown noise and is a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing, picnics, and watching sunsets. Populated by beach-goers throughout the summer, there are groups of musicians and dancers that provide endless entertainment into the night.

Runners in the BMO Vancouver Marathon and First Half pass through around KM 34 and KM 13, respectively. The Marathon’s 34KM mark and aid station sits here, providing runners with exceptional support and enthusiasm as they enter the final 8KM of the race.
