The Vancouver International Marathon Society is pleased to congratulate Dr. Jack Taunton, co-founder of the Vancouver International Marathon, on becoming a Life Member of the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine (CASEM) in December 2014 for his outstanding career in the field of sports medicine.
A recent inductee of the BC Sports Hall of Fame, Jack continues to receive well-deserved recognition of his contribution to sport and the field of Sports Medicine in British Columbia and Canada. Jack was formally welcomed as a Life Member on Friday, February 13th, at the CASEM Sport Medicine Conference in Ottawa, Ontario.
