Great Trek 100th anniversary
Vancouver, BC – October 24, 2022 –
At the Great Trek Half Marathon, 10KM, and 5KM, runners raced through the picturesque university campus, surrounded by autumnal colours, cheering spectators and volunteers.
Technical socks, new Indigenous medal designs by Musqueam artist Darryl Blyth, as well as performances and prayers by the Indigenous ensemble Tsatsu Stalqayu were included.
The Great Trek also raised over $25,000 towards its local charity partners.
