Vancouver, BC – October 1, 2026 – The momentum for Vancouver’s 2027 running season is already gaining international momentum, with the 2027 First Half Marathon reaching capacity in record time and registration for the BMO Vancouver Marathon and Half Marathon moving quickly toward capacity as well.
The First Half was originally created as a halfway training race for runners preparing for the BMO Vancouver Marathon. More than three decades later, the event has become a destination race in its own right, with its limited 2027 field filling at record speed.
